Welcome to our Pedasi Student Interns

The Azuero Earth Project is excited to welcome three students from Pedasi’s Institute Plinio Antonio Moscoso who will be joining us for the coming month as part of their professional practice community service project.

My name is Silenys Corrales, I am 17 years old. I currently live in Pedasí, although I went to elementary school in Macaracas, Los Higos. I spent two years at the Colegio Rafael Antonio Moreno-Macaracas. This year I will get my diploma of sixth year from Institute Plinio Antonio Moscoso. I am Coordinator of program leaders “Leaving Footprints” (LDH), and the project youth against crime (JOCODE).

My name is Madeleine Escudero, I am 17 years old, I live in Los Higos, Pedasí and this year I get my diploma of sixth year Bachelor in tourism from the Institute Plinio Antonio Moscoso.  I will be doing my professional practice at the Azuero Earth Project for a month. I like music and sharing with others and next year I will continue my studies at the University of Las Tablas. On my first day of work I  learned many things, including meeting the visiting herpetologist Jim Knight and his wife, and learning how to catch snakes.

My name is Julio Barría, I am 19 years old, live in Pedasí. This year I will receive my sixth year  diploma from the Institute Plinio Antonio Moscoso. In the future I want to study technical systems. I will be doing my professional practice at Azuero Earth Project.  I love playing soccer I am a servant of the Lord. I hope to learn a lot in this professional practice.  My goal is to achieve and succeed in this internship and in life.
